The 8th FORHEAD Annual Conference
November 10-11th, 2016
The Forum on Health, Environment and Development (FORHEAD) will hold its 8th Annual Conference in Beijing on 10-11 November, 2016. As in the past, the conference will include presentations by scholars, researchers and fellows in the natural, medical and social sciences on a range of health and environment issues related to development. Participants will be invited from academia, government agencies, media and NGOs.
This year's meeting will focus on the following main themes:
- An analysis of health, environment, and development issues, and related laws and policies in the 13th Five Year Plan;
- Health, environment, and development dimensions of food production, with a focus on the pig industry;
- Progress in regional air pollution control
As space will be limited, please register for the meeting on the FORHEAD website (click here) by October 21, 2016. If you wish to present a paper on a topic related to one of the panels, please send an abstract before 9thSeptember and contact the conference organizers as early as possible at forhead@forhead.org.
