个人简介

方菁,女, 博士,现任昆明医科大学健康研究所所长、教授、博士生导师。1984年毕业于昆明医学院卫生系,获医学学士学位;1989年毕业于哈尔滨医科大学获流行病学硕士学位;2006年毕业于英国Sussex大学发展研究所(Institute of Development Studies, IDS),获发展学博士学位。2014年荣获国际生态与健康协会颁布的“生态健康领域杰出贡献奖”。

方菁多年来在生殖健康领域开展研究、教学和培训工作。曾任云南生育健康研究会副会长,主持和参与生育健康方面的国际合作研究项目多项,在国内外杂志上公开发表论文60多篇,包含多篇SCI/SSCI收录英文文章(第一和通信作者)和柳叶刀(Lancet)杂志文章。 参编和主编专著多部,为国家卫生部和计生委的生殖健康项目提供过技术支持,为DFIDIDRCAusaid等国际组织提供过技术支持。任世界卫生组织(WHO)社会性别与权益专家委员会成员(2011-2013), 是社会性别与健康公平性网络成员(The Gender and Health Equity NetworkGHEN), 这一国际网络由来自英国、瑞典、印度、中国、莫桑比克、世界卫生组织(WHO)的研究人员、政府官员和实践者组成。

10年来,方菁的研究工作涉及环境和健康,在尼泊尔国际山地综合发展中心(International Centre for Integrated Mountain Development, ICIMOD)任专家三年(2006-2009),承担多项国际合作研究项目,主要采用生态系统途径应用于人类健康的方法(ecosystem approaches to human health, EcoHealth)在喜马拉雅山区开展土地利用与人类健康的研究,研究项目点包括云南元谋县,西藏那曲地区和尼泊尔的中山区。担任世界卫生组织(WHO)东南亚地区办公室举办的气候变化对人类健康影响国际会议的技术顾问。目前任国际杂志“EcoHealth”的执行编委;任世界卫生组织(WHO)热带病研究项目科学工作组成员;中国环境、健康与发展论坛(FORHEAD)指导委员会成员;云南医疗改革与健康社会科学研究基地首席专家团召集人;加拿大国际发展研究中心(IDRC)东南亚地区生态健康传染病研究项目顾问委员会成员;加拿大卡尔加里大学东南亚地区生态健康培训项目中国联络员。

    Jing Fang earned her PhD at the Institute of Development Studies (IDS), Sussex University, UK in 2006. Before that, she was the Deputy Director of Yunnan Reproductive Health Research Association (YRHRA), a NGO based in Yunnan China, and had undertaken research on Chinese rural health care services, particularly women’s reproductive health in poor rural China for more than one decade. 

She is also involved in providing technical support for Quality of Care Project of the National Family Planning Commission and the Improving Reproductive Health Project of the Ministry of Health, China as well as HIV/AIDS prevention project of Yunnan Province. She focused on her study on the governance and accountability of Chinese health system for 10 years. During 2006-2009 she worked at the International Centre for Integrated Mountain Development (ICIMOD), an independent intergovernmental organization based in Kathmandu, Nepal, as an EcoHealth specialist and led a project entitled “land use change and human health in eastern Himalaya: an adaptive ecosystem approach”.

From 2012 onward, she joined a few other experts in Southeast Asia countries to work on a multi-country and multi-component EcoHealth program entitled “Field Building Leadership Initiative—advancing EcoHealth in Southeast Asia” and she started the first EcoHealth course in the medical university in 2009. In 2014, she was given the “Outstanding Contribution to the Field of EcoHealth” by the International Association for Ecology and Health. At present she is a professor and the director of the Institute for Health Sciences, Kunming Medical University, China doing both teaching and research. She is a member of the Gender and Health Equity Network (GHEN), an international group consisting of researchers, governmental officials and practitioners in India, UK, US, China, Sweden, Mozambique and WHO; she was also a member of the Gender and Rights Advisory Panel (GAP), WHO from 2010 - 2013, a member of the EcoHealth Emerging Infectious Diseases Advisory Committee of IDRC. 

She is currently a member of the Scientific Working Group of the research on vets, environment and society, TDR, WHO (from 2013 - present), a member of executive editorial group of the journal EcoHealth; a member of advisory committee of the Forum for Health, Environment and Development (Forhead), China; and a commissioner member of the Lancet Commission on Adolescent Health and Well-being.
